ESRB Hints At Giana Sisters DS U.S. Release

An update at the ESRB’s site indicates that Giana Sisters, the dual screen remake of the Commodore 64′s famous Super Mario Bros. clone, could be coming to North America soon. The ratings board previously listed the platformer, which released in Australia and Germany in 2009, years ago, but it now has Destineer marked as the publisher.

Adding new graphics, features, and levels, Giana Sisters DS has been praised by gamers in the few territories its released so far. It was notably developed by The Great Giana Sisters co-creator Armin Gessert, who passed away in November 2009, and his studio Spellbound Entertainment. It was the last game Gessert completed before his death.

German developer Bad Monkee released a port of the DS game to iPhone/iPod Touch in June 2009, which you can download for $4.99. It also intends to release an iPad version of the game.

Capcom rips-off Twisted Pixel’s ‘Splosion Man, but refused to sue.

Capcom Mobile recently released a new game for the iOS App Store called MaXplosion, and soon after, a few fans noticed the game bears a striking similarity to a game by Twisted Pixel for Xbox Live Arcade called Splosion Man. Aside from the names themselves, MaXplosion also allows the player to jump three times by exploding each time, has the similar-looking character also running around a lab space, and even has a similar soundtrack.

On Twitter, Twisted Pixel programmer Mike Henry wrote that he’s “definitely pissed off.” He continues: “There’s a right way and a wrong way to go about being “inspired by” another game. Borrowing is great. Hell, we do it all the time. But that game is a complete theft.”

Twisted Pixel CEO and co-founder Michael Wilford makes Capcom look even worse. “Best part is, we originally pitched ‘Splosion Man to Capcom and they said no,” he tweeted. Despite the problem, Twisted Pixel has responded by saying it won’t sue. Not only is the battle probably not worth it for the relatively small developer, but as CEO Mike Wilford says wittily, “we owe them one for inventing Mega Man, so we’ll let them slide.” He promises Twisted Pixel will put the extra time saved into a quality mobile game of its own.

POP REVIEW: La Blue Girl

Hey guys! Been two months since my last review, and I felt like writing this review as of today. This review isn’t inappropriate for younger viewers, so please note that I often review Hentai some times, but I will do non-adult reviews in the future. But right now, this week’s review is:

Yes folks, one of the most popular Hentai in the 90s, since Sailor Moon was first aired. However, I will review only the first six episodes of the series. The rest of the series will appear in the future.

HISTORY
Based on the manga by Toshio Maeda, the La Blue Girl anime, like his other hentai series (such as Urotsukidōji and Demon Beast), features a large amount of tentacle rape. It departs somewhat from its predecessors, however, by lightening the atmosphere with humor, lightly parodying the “Tentacle Hentai” genre. An immensely successful series, La Blue Girl has inspired, over the years, several OVA series for a total of 14 episodes, a comic book adaptation, three live-action movies, some PC games and some art-books.

THE WATCH HISTORY
When I was like 12 or 13 years old (naughty I know), when I discovered Hentai and search Doujinshi on eBay, I discovered this series. I remembered that VHS, Shirts and DVDs were been sold like $20+ and I’m like: “Wow, this looks cool!” Unfortunately [back then] I was underage to buy this product and decided to search and save pictures on my computer. At the age of 16, I found the Hentai site that has a link to download on Megaupload, rather than using a torrent (I used it and I didn’t like it), and I found this series. I later downloaded them all, and I liked it. Even though, I thought this was a magical girl series, but this has more action to it.

THE STORY
The story involves various ninja clans who continually fight each other over hundreds of years. The female protagonist is Miko Mido, a young ninja-in-training and Nin-Nin, her sidekick. After her Grandmother died, Miko takes the next leader of the Miroku ninja clan. This clan has control over the Shikima, a perverted race of demons. However, when thieves steal the magic compact giving the clan this power, Miko has to fight the Shikima, utilizing her “sexcraft” ninjutsu in order to save the world, including her sister Miyu. The Shikima live in a parallel dimension called the Shikima world, and one must perform specific sexual rituals in order to travel there. The Shikima are all sex-hungry monsters, led by the Shikima Lord, who also happens to be Miko Mido’s father.

Later in the few episodes, she met a few foes and friends. One of them was Yaku (another ninja of the Miroku clan, who is able to transform into werewolf during a full moon unless she reaches an orgasm in time) and Fubuki Kai (A self-made ninja who was a foe of Miko, but was later been defeated in the sexual duel, and later adopted by the Shikima). After learning the truth behind her heritage and the identity of her true parents, she embarks on a journey to become a real Miroku ninja and will have to fight an ex-mistress-turned-traitor of the Miroku clan, and the cybernetized survivors of the Suzuka clan.

THE REVIEW
One of the most interesting things about this series, is that a story plot is pretty much definite. Even though this OVA series has lots of sex scenes that contains sex techniques of how ninjas use when they are horny, but this is not for the faint of heart. It contains robotic sex, monster rape, dickgirls, and gore (sort-of). But most importantly, this OVA series is funny as hell that it has the style that Sailor Moon got from the first series, but for adults. Yet, it does not have any magical girl to it, but it’s worth of action and sexy ninja techniques.♥

Rating: 9.7/10 – The Story Plot is great, the animation was amazing, and the voice acting was 85% perfect!

New Background!

Because I’m getting tired of just a plain old white background, I decided to decorate my background just for fun! We’re nearly almost out of the BETA version and I’m still looking for a good theme for my blog. I can’t just change it right now because they are too many good ones to pick. Because I can’t afford to get CSS Code, I’m planning on getting my paypal account, but I’m not really sure how much money I got left. But I will get out of this BETA version real soon.

Why AliceSoft was switched to “Japan-Only”?

Lots of you are being curious what happened to the site, and no the site isn’t dead just yet, because I noticed lots of people are having trouble getting access to the site. If you noticed an Japan-Only link, you thought “OK, the site is dead”. No, this site is NOT dead. If you noticed AliceSoft’s Twitter update, they are still updating the site. Why is the site still alive, well I’ll tell you why!

With Daiteikoku possibly seeing a  2011 release, this seem like a logical move for Alicesoft (some are saying Alicesoft did this in preparation of release new information on Daiteikoku). Daiteikoku’s story plot is a space-themed parody of WWII. Thus caused controversial to users outside of Japan, thus lead to blocking IP blocks outside of Japan, but proxy must be needed.

So like I said: Site isn’t dead, Site block due to the controversial plot of the game, proxy needed. That is all.
